Intimacy Work

Joey has worked as an intimacy coordinator in television and film and also has experience in intimacy directing for theater. Joey trained with Theatrical Intimacy Education and is an Assistant Faculty member with the organization.

Some of Joey’s credits include: Law & Order: SVU (NBC), The Equalizer (CBS), Wu-Tang: An American Saga (Hulu), A League of Their Own (Amazon Studios), and Harlem (Amazon Studios).

Joey’s background is in sexual violence prevention education work and work surrounding supporting survivors. They are a skilled facilitator and educator, and they volunteer as a sexual assault and domestic violence crisis advocate in ERs across Manhattan. Please reach out with any questions.
